Hi! I’m Batesy, and thanks for stopping by!

I’ve been playing ultimate frisbee for almost two years at university. And yes, I’m that chap throwing the disc in the photo.

Since starting as a beginner in my first year, I’ve fallen in love with the sport. Yes, that’s right, frisbee is a sport!

However, despite its rapid growth from the USA to the UK and across the world, ‘ultimate’ (as it is also called) is still a very niche sport that the majority of people have never heard of.

This is where my blog comes in. I will try to spread the word about ultimate – its rules, its culture, its best moments, and the joy it can bring. Then, after reading my blog, hopefully you will pick up a disc and start throwing!
